This article originally appeared briefly on the front page of CNN.com last week and was then quickly replaced by other world news & events.
I think it is worth a read even if you don’t know anyone who is affected by this condition. In addition, it is yet another example of how technology is fostering or, in some cases, even creating new forms of social networking and interaction.

This story is something I recently stumbled across and was originally reported in the Daily Mail.. It reminds me of the Lonely Girl YouTube videos except now clever marketing professionals are using Facebook.
Here’s an excerpt:
The digital camera blonde who attracted thousands of admirers on Facebook has been exposed – she is nothing more than a pretty advert for a porn site.
Images of the mystery blonde were posted on the internet – supposedly in a bid to trace the owner of a camera lost on holiday.

Amid the constant stream of news about the US economy falling into a recession, housing foreclosures, credit woes, Forbes released an update to its list of global billionaires. There are several interesting facts worth noting.
- Mark Zuckerberg (age 23) is now the youngest self-made billionaire.
- Twenty-seven of the world’s billionaires live in Silicon Valley.

Hmmm… Let’s have some fun with #1. The one on the left is a young Bill Gates in case you don’t recognize him from his “Wonder Years”. Wow! The resemblance is uncanny.
