I know it has been a while since I last wrote a post.  First, we need to offer a big congratulations to Mike on his recent engagement.  He recently proposed to my sister-in-law.

Switching gears, this year is off to an interesting start.  The Consumer Electronics Show is just wrapping up in Las Vegas, Nevada.  If you haven’t heard, Bill Gates showed a video poking fun of himself on his last day at Microsoft.

Personally, I still think last year’s spoof of Steve Jobs was more entertaining.  Joking aside, I have to commend “Billy G” for stepping down at Microsoft.

What is he going to do?  He will be focusing forty hours a week on philanthropic efforts through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.  If you’ve been following this angle, then you know he has a lot of money to spend including the commitments they’ll be receiving from their good friend, Mr. Warren Buffet (the “Oracle of Omaha”).
